Rio Verde is a 80% of 55+ Adult community with two 18 hole golf courses. The two Park Style golf courses were redesigned by Tom Lehman in 2006. Our motto is 'Golf and a Whole Lot More' because of the diversity in activities available.
Tonto Verde is also 80% 55+ Adult community with two 18 hole golf courses. The two Desert Style golf courses are available for members and non members. Tonto Verde is semi-private and a gated community.
Both Rio Verde and Tonto Verde have great dining in each respective Club House.
Golf gives you an opportunity to meet a lot of people. Monday and Wednesday are Men's Days and Tuesday and Thursdays are Ladies Days. On those days, the preferential tee times are designated for either group and the rest of the day, all can play. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are open for everyone. Tournaments will also include Couples Tournaments once a month during the season. Enjoy your round of golf and stop in to the Pub for refreshments, lunch or dinner.
6 Tennis courts with the best surface in the valley. Ladies days are Monday and Wednesday (while the men play golf), Men's days are Tuesday and Thursday (while ladies play golf). On site pro who offers drills and competition for different levels of play.
Classes included Exercise (Land and Water), Art, Computer, Wood carving, Cards, Tap dancing and a variety of lectures.
Fitness Center is a full service center with Cybex equipment. Personal Trainer available by appointment
'A whole lot more...' includes Bocce Ball, Pickle Ball, convenience store, beauty shop, post office to name a few.
